Domestic Violence thrives when we are silent. But if we take a stand and work together, we can end domestic violence. Throughout the month of October, help CSADV to raise awareness about domestic violence and join in our efforts to end violence.

Here is what you can do:

Your company can help by holding a “Jeans Day” at your office. Pick a day or several days throughout the month of October where your employees can wear blue jeans to work for a $5 donation to CSADV. We are willing to provide a speaker and/or information brochures if requested.

Can’t do “Jeans Day”? No problem! Consider making a donation to CSADV or even volunteering your time.

Tailgate Party before Morningside/Briar Cliff College football game

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Your company can help by holding a “Jeans Day” at your office. We ask that you pick a day or several days throughout the month of October where your employees can wear blue jeans to work for a $5 donation to CSDAV. It’s an easy and fun way for both your company and your employees to get involved and help a great cause. Let them know that their $5 donation and simply the act of participating will help to save a life right here in Siouxland.

Join CSADV at Minerva’s from 4 to 10 p.m. eat, drink and be merry. Minerva’s will generously donate 10% all proceeds from the night to CSADV’s mission.

We are honored to partner with Minerva’s as part of Domestic Violence Awareness month for this easy, fun and delicious way to raise money and awareness for the work we do. We hope to see you there.

Join CSADV and the Sioux City Police for a Tailgate Party!

The Siouxland Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault along with CSADV and the Sioux City Police Department will be holding a tailgate party at the Morningside College/Briar Cliff College football game at Olson Stadium on the Morningside campus on October 22 prior to the game.

There will be food and other activities and at half time the crowd will stand for a moment of silence to honor all of the individuals effected by domestic violence.
